Professional, reliable and sustainable care for public, commercial and communal landscapes across County Durham and the North East.
Common problems
Whether a site has slipped behind or an existing arrangement has stopped working, these are the jobs we are usually asked to sort out first.
About us
Reggie T Landscapes maintains grounds for parish councils, managed estates, schools, care homes and commercial sites across County Durham and the North East. Commercial-grade kit and a proper written schedule, run by the person who does the work rather than by a regional office.
We believe that high-quality green spaces are the heartbeat of a thriving community. Whether it is a parish recreation ground, a communal garden or a public verge, we treat every site as a vital community asset.
Our services
Not lawn mowing with a van. Grounds kept to a schedule, on sites where the public are looking at them every day.
The cornerstone of the business. Large-scale maintenance for highway verges, recreation grounds and ornamental lawns, on a frequency set to the site.
Specialist pruning for boundary hedges and ornamental shrub beds, working to the health of the plant and the safety of the space around it.
Strategic management schedules built around the specific needs of parish councils, managing agents and commercial property managers.
The work that only makes sense at the right time of year, from leaf clearance through to wildflower meadow management and swale maintenance.
Schedule of works
Most contractors say the schedule depends on the site and leave it there. Here is the shape of it, so you can see what you are paying for month by month, and so the next committee meeting has an answer.
March to May
The site goes from dormant to fastest-growing in about six weeks. Get the first cuts and the edges right now and the whole year looks maintained.

June to August
This is when the site is busiest and most visible. Consistency matters more than anything else here.

September to November
Growth slows and the risk changes. Leaf fall on a walkway is the most common slip hazard on a maintained site, and it arrives on a schedule you can plan for.

December to February
Cutting stops, so this is when the structural work happens, the work that is impossible once everything is in leaf.

The owner
Director, Reggie T Landscapes Ltd
Reggie has 15 years in the trade and set the company up in 2024. He still runs every contract himself. He quotes the work, he plans the schedule, and he is on site while it is being done. There is no account manager in between.
That is the whole reason the business exists in the shape it does. A larger contractor sells you one standard, prices it against another, and sends a crew who have never seen your site. Reggie does not have that problem, because there is nobody to hand it off to.
“Reggie, the Director of the company and father of a child in Y5, offered to improve this area free of charge. He has decked it out so it is now a great covered space to play in.” A local school newsletter. The deck pictured is the one they are describing.Talk to Reggiearrow_forward
